I am new to this ,but a friend gave me a amp so I thought I would give it a try.It is going in a 83 mercedes 240d.
Pioneer deh 3800 hu
boston acoustics s45 in the dash 4ohm -run off the head unit
2 kicker 4 1/2 in the front doors- run off th hu
2 boston acoustic 6 1/2 in the back deck run off the amp
amp pyle 1600w amp 4 x 400 or bridged 2x 800
then 2 infinity 10 svc subs. 4 ohm in a sealed box
I had it hooked up this way and it sounded great but I was wanting to see if I could get the front speakers hooked up through the amp or do I need to get another amp?
I'd replace the Pyle amp with something better, which would be almost anything mainstream... but if you want to use it, connect the front door speakers to channels 1 and 2 and the rear speakers to channels 3 and 4. Leave your dash speakers connected to the HU if you must use them., I assume the sub has its own amp? If not, get one.

The pyle seems to be doing a fine job. Whats the problem with pyle ?? Have you had one ?? I dont have a amp for the SUBS . That was my question . How to wire or run 2 subs and six speakers off of a 4 channal amp.
Thanks again
The only way to do it will be using passive crossovers, and running the amp in tri-mode. A potentially tedious process, but BCAE1.COM can help you understand it a little better. For a really nice high-end system, you'll probably want an additional amplifier, to dedicate to the subwoofers.
The Pyle is just not a high-end piece of gear, and I can GUARANTEE that the 1600 watt rating is so FAR BEYOND anything even remotely optimistic. (What's the fuse compliment? 2 @ 30A, MAYBE?) Also, the reliability of Pyle is like the reliability of Jaguar, or Harley.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
Yes I have owned Pyle, but more than that I have thrown a lot of them away after they either burned up or simply sounded so horrible the owner could not stand using them. Pyle was decent 30 years ago (the company used to be called Utah Scientific) but today it is flea-market quality.,
I suggest the best way to set up your system (assuming you really want to power three sets of speakers and a sub with one amp) is: dash speakers and rear deck speakers off the HU amplifiers; front main speakers off channels 1 and 2 of your amp; sub off channel 3 and 4 of the amp. I'd more the BA 6.5" speakers into the front doors as these are likely the best speakers in your system and you want the best sound to be up front where you sit. Be sure to use a proper LP filter for the sub, and set the input gain properly. That will get you by with the best quality possible in such a setup.

So I couldn't dedicate 2 channels to the to subs, then with one channel run the two 6 1/2's on the rear deck in parallel wiring and then the door speakers and front dash speakers run series/parallel wiring like this

And the amp seems 2 be pushing the 2 infinty kappa perfect 10.1 's just fine with only two channels not even turned up little over half way in a sealed box. Would another brand of amplifer do it that much better??
Thanks again
