im trying to mount a new tweeter, the problem is that the new tweet is a little larger then the old one, so i had to cut a little around the location so the new tweet will fit snug...now the spot the where the tweet is suppposed to flush mount to is a little curvy so there is a gap between the tweet ring and the door, i was thinking hot glue but anyone witn any experiance know the best thing to fill the gap and make it look clean

Caulk with latex door-and-window caulk. Wipe with a damp rag so that you don't have shiny residue on your door panel. When the caulk cures, paint it with an artist brush to match the door trim. (You can break out the paint set you never used with that aircraft carrier model you didn't finish building...)

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.
