I have a a pair of tweets, one pair of midrange, and 4 midbass's. I'm wanting to run the tweets and midrange off one 4 channel and the midbass's off another. I have the front and rear outputs off my HU to work with. I'm guessing I'll have to get spliters for the rca's to plug in to the front and rear of each amp. Would that be a close guess? The amps in question are a pair of Eclipse XA4000's. My head unit(pioneer 980bt) has the time alignment and I'm thinking that if the tweets and midrange are getting the same rca signal from the front output that it won't sound good. My other options was to use a Zapco DC650.6 but I would still have to split the front output to run channels 1-4 while using the rear output to run channels 5 and 6. I've probably left out something so I'll answer any questions that come up. thanks in advance

Personally, I would design passive crossovers to use with the mids / tweeters, and get that part of the equation out of the way as simply as possible.  That will require the use of only two channels.  Working with actives to blend the mids between the component sets and sub will be hard enough in itself.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Well the speakers I'm wanting to use are basically Exodus Audio LCR kits, https://www.acoustic-visions.com/~acoustic/products/speakers/complete_kits/kit_lcr.shtml, which are for the home. I guess I'll just try to make some x-overs for them and use them at home. As for my Rover, I guess I just do something like a decent component set for 2 channels and some midbass's for the other 2 channels off a 4 channel amp. I just really need to have a some midbass. All my systems have lacked that. Maybe a Zapco DC1000.4 would work well with a pair of components and the 4 Adire Extremis. Hmmm...

I think I am leaning towards using the 1000.4 to run the Extremis and a set of good components. Now how to pick which ones...Dynaudio 240mkII or 360 3-way, Diamond Audio D971, what ever else you guys might suggest...
