Yes, stop looking and buy the Eclipse.

ok but i have read on here before that with the eclipses 8 volt preout that it can damage my amp, is this true or not?  the 5000 is gonna be powering 2 ma audio hk401sx amps

11 years retailing Eclipse, not one cd player has ever damaged an amplifier due to the preout voltage.

And NO... no preamp output could EVER damage the preamp inputs on an amplifier. SPEAKER outputs could, conceivably damage the RCA inputs on an amplifier, but never an RCA to RCA connection.

I also am in agreement (agreeance? posted_image) with Rob. The Eclipse will blow the Kenwood out of the water in regards to sound quality...

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

And what about the Alpine VS Eclipse ?

The problem with alpine is the PRE OUT..low voltage... but what about the sound quality and the other spec?

I think Eclipse only has SIRIUS Ready ? I have XM! :(

Eclipse and if your sat radio unit is a standalone, then fire it into the aux input.
