Any issues changing the radio out in these cars. I wanna put an AVIC-D2 into one of these. I have heard many bad things that happen when you change out the radio. Any comments, suggestions would be appreciated.

I rented one to go to New York on vacation. I replaced the radio with a JVC unit and the Sirius tuner and used the Metra GMOS-LAN-03. it worked fine. with the GMOS-LAN-03 you have to add a relay if you want the turn signal click (the relay just provides the sound, it has nothing to do with the turn signals), but I opted not to add the relay. for the week I had the car it worked fine without any problems.

how about the driver information center, or door chime??? are those affected??
