does anyone have an opinion on this sub about its performance? Im trying to debate whether to get 2 Infinity kappa perfect 10.1Ds or 2 L7 Kicker 8 inch solobarics.

how's it goin nick ....i've heard both subs before ....i've heard 1 10" L7 and it was poundin pretty hard. i've heard 2 perfect 10" and they were hittin pretty hard too ....the perfects have better sound quality than the L7's, but i wouldn't pay 200$ - 250$ on a perfect. to me i think all infiniy products are kinda over priced and over rated ...so it depends on what you're lookin for ....if you get the L7's, get two 10's instead of two 8's ....either subs you get, i recommend a ported box.

i had 3 infinity kappa perfect 12s in a sealed box before and have heard the kicker L7s as well, the kappas will have better sound quality and the kickers are designed more for loudness than quality. If you get the same size subs and compare it the kickers will naturally be louder cause of the bigger surface area, its pretty much up to you.. are you looking for loudness or sound quality ;D

I have had a terrible time with perfect subs(gone through 6 in the past year and a half) in that the voice coils come disconnected from the spiders.... i dont know maybe its just me
