Have been doing a little research on these particular subs and have read many many rave reviews.I'm assuming most of these reviews are on the 1st generation SPL's so my question is how do the second generation Soundstream SPL's match up to the first?I did read an article stating that the original builders of the first gens also built the second gens.I can get my hands on the second gen SPL's quite easy so im just wondering from actual users if they are as good as the first?

I gave them a try, and either my expecatations have raised since I owned the first gen SPL's......or something is consideribly diffrent
