i cant figure out the wiring on my stereo. im trying to install an aftermarket cd player and cant get anything out of the unit when i wire it up to the adapter for the harness. anyone know a good site with diagrams of this

05 chevy colorado with am/fm radio stock.

Unless you're using the data retention harness, there's no switched 12 volt source provided. You need to either use the proper harness, or run your own switched lead. Read the sticky "How to identify stereo wiring," which will explain how to test for a proper source.
