Hey i have a 99 galant with a sony xplode head unit and a sony xplode 500watt amp and a 12n dub sub, it works great with the radio but when i play a cd with the volume over 1/2 the sub cuts out, does any one know y and how i can fix it?

what impedance do you have your sub wired to?   what is the lowest impedance the amp can take?
