i have not tried it yet, but i bought a new for my Mustang.. and i am giving my dad my older radio ..  he has a 1994 ford aspire.  it has the basic old AM/FM radio in it that i have seen on many Ford cars.  i was not sure how to take the radio out. i wanted to know how i can do this, becuase i am sure other people with a ford of that year know how.   my radio was easy to take out (the origanal ford mustang radio) becuase there were screaws holding the face plate in (basicaly) but with my Dad's , there doesnt seem to be anything holding it in.  i can see 4 really little wholes around the radio, like maybe u shove something in there and pull the radio out, but i wasnt sure.

You can also buy tools made specifically for these radios. They're little loops of stiff wire that fit the holes, and cost a few bucks.
