Ive got a 99 Land Rover Discovery.  Got a 12" Sub in the rear running 300rms, 7700w max in a ported box. 

The factory speakers consist of tweets in the A pillars, 4" in the front doors & 4"'s in the rear beside the back window facing forward.  Also have a JVC headunit, although hope to replace with something with ipod control...

The 12 thumps pretty good but doesnt hit the higher bass frequencies.  The 4's dont leave a lot of choice for components.  Id like the bass to cover a broader spectrum. 

I have another amp not in use, same ratings as above, 2 channel bridgable.  Should I use that to power the components?

Replace the OEM system.  Build yourself a real sound system.  It's a Land Rover dude!

Im working on it! So far the bulk of my $$ has ended up in suspension upgrades & rubber...
