I own an 87 camaro and a rockford fosgate punch 401s, its a 2 channel amp that puts out 100 watts rms x 2 at 4 ohms 200 watts rms x 2 at 2 ohms 400 rms x 1 at 4 ohms bridged and 1200 max at 4 ohms bridged i'm looking for either one or two 12's but don't have a whole lot of money to work with does any one out there have any advice on what subs would put out the best sound being pushed by that amp i did have two mtx thunder 4500's but blew one, i ran both subs of the amp bridged and i bought all this used from a buddy i would like the get something that would sound as good as the 4500's but be less abusive on my amp

no more than 500 and i'm shooting for 200 to 300 would be great

For that price you can get a couple Kicker Comp VRs or Infinity Kappa 12's, or if you want to get serious one of the new generation Adire Brahma 12D2's which would probably out-perform most everything else in this price range.
