I need help choosing an amp for my < face=Verdana color=#ff0000 >KICKER DS12L5-4 box that has two Kicker 12 L5's. The paper that came with it says it can handle 2 or 4 ohms and 2400W (1200 rms) does anyone have any suggestions for an amp that would pair up great with this setup? What gauge power wire should i use? I have a Kenwood 800W amp from my old setup but that just aint gonna cut it with my new speakers. Thanks and love this place it's helped out many times with hard to find things in the past.

BTW its going in a 04 H2 Hummer

For two 12" L5's you'd probably want to look into getting a high end mono from kicker such as the 1000.1 or even getting the 1500.1 they are really expensive but if its going into a H2 you might as well pay for Kicker's amps there amazing.

Some dealers still have the older KX1200.1 I would ask around. You can get them really cheap these days and that amp will do fine.
