Hi i have a 2000 celica gts. i would like to know the color for the remote wire in the factory stereo.  i always assumed it was the blue one, but i've heard red.  please advise.

remote wire to do what? trigger an amp. pop up the power antenna?

+12V DC Battery(Constant)Blue / YELLOW  Radio 15 Amp Junction box behind panel, on right side of center console 
Switched AccessoryGray  ECU-Acc 7.5 Amp Junction box behind panel, on right side of center console 
Ground Brown  
Power Antenna Black  
Remote Turn On(output) Red  
Illumination Green & WHITE/ green  
Mute Brown  
Left Front + White Line level output 
Left Front - Black Common signal ground 
Right Front + Red Line level output 
Left Rear + Yellow Line level output 
Right Rear + Blue Line level output
