I have 4 Orion Cobalt cs15d subs .. they are dual voice coil 4 ohm 15"s.i am trying to fit all 4 in a 99 crown vic.. i learned from orion they need 3.0 cu.ft. thats gonna be tough, looking for suggestions did'nt know they needed so much space when purchased... has anyone ever ran 2 in the same chamber or airspace?? i'm considering running 2 subs per chamber with a orion 2500d ran at 2ohms @ 1700 watts instead of 1 ohm @ 2500 watts because the subs only take 400 watts each.. needing 1600 watts so that 1700 watts shouls pull it off if i can come up with the right enclosure..let me know...

You're only options with wiring those subs all together is either 2 or 8 ohms...1 ohm final load isn't possible with those

Is that 3 cu ft for sealed or ported???

i know 1 ohm is not possible... i said earlier i intend to wire them @2 ohms & get 1700 watts from amp... which would almost match the 1600 watts needed to push them... yes 3.0 cu.ft is for a sealed enclosure.. i'm after enclosure advice not wiring....

12 cu ft enclosure is pretty big...you can run 2 in the same chamber but if one blows than the other one will be seeing double the recommended airspace and may fail also.

I would try to build the box so each has its own chamber
