i need an amp for my kicker cvr12 the sub is rated at 400 watts rms and 800 watts peak.I like the mtx thunder tc4002 amp its rated at 400 watts rms but it has a peak of 1200 will this amp burn up my sub?
what other amps do you recommend for my sub.

I would reccommend getting the kicker 400.1 or the kicker 750.1 depending on if your going to be running another CVR in the future they both come with bass remotes which is pretty sweet the 400.1 is a pretty small size amp too so you can mount it under your seat.

the 400.1 is a good amp for that sub... have that same setup in my work truck
