I'm going to be helping my cousin install a new aftermarket H/U in his vehicle today. The vehicle though comes with a factory Bose system which has an amp. Is it possible to connect his new aftermarket H/U to his factory amp?. Or will we just have to disconnect the amp and connect the speakers directly to the H/U?.
 
I'm guessing if it is possible there should be a wiring harness out there. Can someone give us some direction to what we need in order to get this job done.

metra electronics or call your local audio store to see what they have, ther are probably 5 different companies that make a wire harness .
