I was wondering if I would need a fit kit to install my radio in my 99 Si?

METRA PART

any local car audio store should have the kit and harness on hand, even Best Buy and Circuit City

i used to have a 99 Si, i miss it  posted_image

it is possible to do it without a kit, but the pocket wont have anything to bolt onto after removal of the factory radio.  I used a dash kit on mine, but instead of using the cage that the radio came with, i bolted the radio to the factory brackets, its much more secure that way.
