I'm trying to install an amplifier and subs in my 01' Ford Explorer Sport. It has a factory Pioneer 6 cd changer in the dash, so I didn't want to put in an after market radio. I purchased a line output converter but I'm not sure how to hook it up to the existing radio.

The way a LOC works is it converts speaker signal into a pre-amp signal. To install the Loc Just connect one series of wires to the left speaker and one to the right. The one with a black stripe is usually the negative for the speaker and the solid color the positive.(They will share that color). Simple.

The problem is I don't know what color the wires should be coming out from the radio. I also need to find the remote wire.
