aight well my 2 dvc mtx 5500s dont seem to want to work together...i had them wired in series/parallel to 4 ohm and all my amp does it cut out...there should be more than enough power coming from my amp to push these two but it just wont work???????

what do you mean by cutout? like are you listening to music at a loud level then the amp turns off for a few minutes? or is the amp shutting off everytime the bass hits hard and then turning back on a few seconds later?

the subs will work for no more than 30 seconds and then just stop playing..the amp will still be on..yet the subs wont work and i have to turn my headunit off and back on again for the subs to just do it again

is there any protect lights on the amp turning on? have you tried putting a dmm on the power to the amp to make sure its not losing voltage to the amp? ------------- git yer swerve on!

What impedance are the subs...and recheck your series parallel wiring

dual 4ohms..i dunno how compitable the amp and the subs r together but shouldnt the amp still be able to push the subs fine tho??? i mean what is the right wiring diagram?? maybe i have it wrong somewhere

Only way you can wire both of those subs to that amp using all coils is series parallel for a 4 ohm load.
Seems like you may have it at a 1 ohm load...amp cannot handle that load
