 I just finished hooking up a kicker 8" sub in my suv . It worked just fine before I screwed it into the box now it is just making a pop noise every 2 seconds . Any tips you could give me on how to fix this problem ?

take it back out of the box and make sure nothing got damaged when it was being installed, check your speaker wire going to the amp and check your power and grounds. double check everything.
