I recently bought a 2006 HOnda Accord LX, with no nav or cd changer. Does anyone know if the factory head unit has an auxilary input? I want to buy an aux to RCA converter to connect an Ipod, but I want to make sure there's an Aux input.

Inspiring...really. Probably the most obvious answer, I was just trying to save myself some time. Thanks

Does your radio have an aux button? If yes, it should have an aux in in the back of the radio. In that case you don't need a converter, just mini jack to rca cable for i-pod. If not, the only thing you you can do is to get an fm mod. to play i-pod through. In any case to be sure most likely you would need to pull the deck out.

If the radio has a CD/AUX button, then the connector is a 14 pin AUX input for a factory cd changer. PAC Audio sells a converter for about $80 that converts that 14 pin aux into two inputs. One is an RCA, and one is for an aftermarket cd changer. If you buy that cable it will work perfectly. Definitely pull the deck before you buy anything to make sure the deck has the 14 pin connector.
