sony cdx gt200 disable faceplate beep?

Is it possible to disable the beeping which occurs if you turn your ignition off before removing the faceplate, for the Sony CDX-GT200?  This is NOT the same setting as the "key press" beeping.  I already disabled that.....

I've seen other people with the Sony CDX-GT200, and theirs do not beep when turning off their vehicles.  Sony informed me the only way to disable this "alert" beep was to use an external amp......oh and by the way, the people that don't have this beeping don't have an external amp, either......

are you sure that these people dont have a factory amplifier?

Would a dodge neon or chevrolet caveliar come with factory amplifiers?
