My question is would any spray gun work for 3m RED / black can contact cement? i currently have 3 HVLP, 2 are cheep. Im going to be getting ready to re-do my door pods (here is the current one) Im going to upgrade to a 3-way, 6.5", 4", tweeter for the door.

Depending on viscosity of particular compound, not all paint sprayers can accept such without clogging the nozzle. I would just get some cheap sprayer from Lowes hardware store in case the glue would not clean out.

Thanks mike12volt for the info, ill try one of my cheap sprayers i have.

The glue is used for appling vinyl/carpet to your project. Im redoing my door pods to add a 4" or 5.25" mid range to my current 6.5" Plus couple other vinyl projects. Spaying it on is alot earyer then brushing it on.

3M products contact cement  are also available in a aerosol can and would take care of this job as well. (for those of you that do not have air compressors).
