I'm trying to decide on an indash GPS navigation setup for my Silverado project. I have a budget in mind, and I've come up with a few ideas, and need people's advice, since I can't go out and try the kenwood or clarion out (I'll have to buy online).
I'm looking to buy a clarion VRX775VD, with the clarion navigation attachment,
or
The Kenwood KVT 719DVD, with the Kenwood/Garmin navigation unit
or
Alpine IWA 310 with the Alpine Blackbird and dock
I haven't been able to try out anything except an IWA 310, by itself, and a Clarion DVD head unit, not the same one. What's the best system, overall?

This is the way I look at it, it may be a bit vague, but here goes. Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge...... whats YOUR preferance? Buy what YOU like/want. -------------

I know they're all preferences, but i was hoping mainly to hear what other people's experiences are, Especially with the Kenwood, since i can't play around with anywhere around here.
It'd be good to hear other user's experience.

I know which one I would buy, but I'm a dealer for their product. The internet is a good thing for information, but support comes from your local dealer. There is much tobe said for being able to drive to the place you bought the product to deal with any problems (warrenty) you may encounter. Part of your decision should be based on that. You don't have to buy online, if a company cares enough about selling you their product, they can find a way to get it to you through a local shop, and maybe they can open a new dealer. Buying online just hurts local shops.
