Im about to build an MDF box for 2 15" L7s. The manual confuses me. It says recomended sealed enclosure- Moderate Efficiency

(Minimum enclosure volume) , < face=AntiqueOliveLight >1.5 cu.ft. Power Handling = 1000W.

Then it says < face=AntiqueOlive,Bold > (Maximum enclosure volume), < face=AntiqueOliveLight >6.0 cu.ft. Power Handling = 1000W

< face=AntiqueOlive,Bold >< face=AntiqueOliveLight >I want the hard hitting bass, as hard as i can get them, so what measurement should i go with?

how much room do you have???

it would be a waste to put that sub in a sealed box

Umm, i think i have some good space. Its a 99' cadillac STS. Im either gonna use a Bazooka RS150.2 or A kicker 1200.1. Which do you think? I was just gonna buy a ported box already made, but i dont think the ones that stereo shops build are to specs. I figure they just throw them together.

Neither of those amps are big enough for ONE of those drivers, let alone 2... The Bazooka makes nowhere near it's claimed power, and the Kicker is only slightly closer in it's honesty, but WAY better than the Bazooka... Regardless, you'll want one of either of those amps - PER WOOFER.

And for that driver, that'd be a fantastic waste of time... You're right - most pre-fabs are jut thrown together. Not only will it probably NOT be to spec, but it'll probably be made of 5/8 particle board, not MDF (I'd recommend 1 inch or better). You are spending good money on gear, spend a little bit more, and support that gear correctly.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

So, how bout if i use both of the amps? How much of a difference would it make since they are different brands? I have that bazooka amp on 2 15" Memphis M1 subs and it rocks them in a 1.5 cubic foot sealed enclosure, they were actually hitting so hard, the cone ripped and i had to repair it, then it blew the center cap off the other one and i had to glue that back on. So i think its pretty powerful. The 1200.1, i havent hooked up yet, I got it with the Ls subs.

The subs are only 1000 watts a piece, I dont see why that wouldnt be enough power
