I am thinking about installing a PA system in my vehicle. Would it be safe to run power from my stereo power distribution block? I have a 4 awg running to the block with 2 8 awg wires powering two amps. They are drawing 60 amps. Thanks
We need a LOT more than that to tell you whether what you are wanting to is safe, or, indeed if it will even work. Please give us a little bit more info regarding what exactly you are trying to do, and please list your equipment. Are you trying to use auditorium types of amplifiers, or car amps... LOTS more needed.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
I've got an Alpine MRP-F250 (30 amps) driving four Polk db525s. Also a Buttkicker BKA-800-SSW (40 amps)driving a Polk Momo 8" sub. All at 4 ohms. I have each amp running off an 8 ga power lead connected to a streetwires distribution block fed by a 4 ga power wire. The block is approximately 15' feet from the battery.
I am thinking about installing a Speco PAT30 PA amplifier seen here:

I would like the largest horn (on same page as above) that I can fit in the negative space under my hood. It's a TJ, so there's lots of room. Every system they list is 8 ohms.
Thoughts?
An additional 30 watts will only be about 5 more amps total draw. I'd say you're just fine doing that.
