im trying to install a amp wiring kit in my new 07 hyundia elantra. i had one hell of a time trying to find a way to get my 12v line through the firewall.. i couldnt... i had to go under the car :( . now my next delama is trying to get my hi-level inputs to my trunk.. my rear speakers are im my doors :( . now here's my question. without takeing out my radio to get my speaker wires im trying to intersept them under the molding on the bottom by the door.. the only problem is , is that there are like 40 wires, multiples of the same color on some.. what color are my rear speakers?? or does someone have an easier way.. on older car of done its easy to remove radio or to get behind the dash. not this car is tight as ...... . thanks guy for all your help!!!!
Naw, not under the car. Through the firewall. Don't give up on that most basic of install principles. You can find a place to drill through.
After that, you need to find out how to pull the radio. Wire colors don't mean anything when you are looking at 40 wires under a moulding strip.
If you are using a LOC or the hign level input on your amp, I suggest tapping at the front speaker locations. That entails that you remove the door panels to gain access to the speakers. Run new speaker wire, twisted (see links), back to the area of the amplifier and mount the LOC there (or wire directly to the hi level input plug on the amp).

Depending on your setup plan, you might use the rear speaker locations instead.
