lost on amp/speaker ohms

here is goes, i have a sony xm-6001gxd mono block amp, it says to use speakers 1-8 ohms, on the amp directions it says i can use either speaker output and minimum 1 ohm on the speaker, and the diagram shows a 4 ohm speaker hooked to one side, so does that mean its still 4 ohms..........then it shows a diagram with two speakers and it says to use the right and left speaker outputs, and minimum of 2 ohms on the speaker, well now those two speakers are 4 ohm, so does that make it 4 ohms still or does that drop it to 2 ohm, being that its a mono block amp,......so now here is my issue i have three 4 ohm SVC subs, if i wire them parallel that would give me 1.3333 ohms (1.34ohms) now since i have a minimum of 1 ohm on the amp does that mean im ok, i always thought that like in the old days you have 2   4 ohm svc subs parallel them and and you would be at 2 ohms, bridge them on the amp and that drops it to 1 ohm.   last but not least the amp has a rating of 600watts@4ohms and 1200watts@2ohms .....THD is .1%@4ohms, .4%@2ohms, and .8%@1ohm.  my question there is what would be my wattage and THD

Don't confuse a one-channel (mono) amp with a two-channel amp.  This amp is not being bridged, being as there is just one channel. 

You didn't list a power output rating for 1 ohm.  This amp should rate it thus if it is indeed capable of handling a 1 ohm load.  That is the power and THD you are looking at (close to your 1.33 ohm impedance).

Your Xpold(ing) amp is a 300-watt amp.  It is rated for 300 watts @ 4-ohms, 600 watts @ 2-ohms and 1000 watts @ 1-ohm.  Don't worry about the THD specs, although you will get 8 times more distortion at 1-ohm than you will at 4-ohms.  As Steve said, your amp is mono it only has one output, although it includes multiple speaker wire connection points for ease of operation.  Your 3-sub setup should not overload the amp and you should be able to generate in the vicinity of 750 watts with a 1.34 ohm load.  Be sure to set your gain properly.  Don't be surprised if it dies an early death as it is a Sony (not known for long term reliability) and if you just got it, it must be used as the model you list is a 2001 model.

no its not new, it looks it though and bench tests fine, it came out of a repo, so i dont know how it was treated, when i looked up the info 600watts@4ohms and 1200watts@2ohms is the max, the nominal your right is, 300/600/1000, so if they are saying the others are max why dont they list a watt rating for the 1 ohm MAX, how would i get to the 1000 watt usage, i want to pound the heck out of it and see how long it lasts, your right on the xploding part, lol. my cousin the repo man, gives me all kinds of stuff all the time, just wanna see what it can do, my prior amp running my 3 12's right now is a little memphis 500 watt chome class d amp, it drive the heck out of my subs and sounds pretty darn good, i was shocked at first, the amp never gets hot or shuts down. i thought about getting two more of these and three DVC subs and trying it. i dont impress easy but damn. there kickin little amps

Memphis is about three levels better than Sony, IMO.  "Max" ratings are only listed to sell amps to kids who don't know any better.  "RMS" or nominal ratings are the real capabilities of an amp for normal everyday usage.
