Do I just need a wiring harness for this or is there anything special w/ the security/alarm I need to do to install the alpine player?

wiring harness is needed unless you want to hardwire it

that's it no special wiring to alarm or anything? my friend was sayin somethin about his car is wired to the stock cd player and if you disconnect you have to wire somewhere for the alarm to keep working.
