Most of you know me as either the "kicker guy" or the "Loud guy" But I finially got a customer willing to spend a little cash, to have me bust out a FiberGlass project. This is the compleation after 3 days of working on and off. Project car..2004 Cavalier Equipment..(2) Kicker CVX 10's powered by a Kicker KX1200.1 (Did you think I would use something besides KICKER?) Your pods look good man, but your shop looks like mine right now, and thats not a good thing. What do you charge for the install on that car.

This is a good buddy of mine, and he has brought every car he has owned to me so far. The equpiment was roughly $600 minus the deck, and the boxes so fr are right around $300. With the cost of beer needed to keep the prokect going he is probably going to be right around $1000 when were done with the amp rack and such.

not tring to be a dick but why didnt u use matching carpet and make them more uniform to the trunk? too many gaps behind the enclosures also. i see mdf around the one speaker too. not tring to burst ur bubble just need more practice fitting and customizing. if ya need help feel free to email me i can help ya and even send ya a pix or 2...SPLaudio78@hotmail.com,Corey

I really dont need the tips, the fact is that this was done on a very very tight budget. so it couldnt be 100% of the work I would like to do.

It metered 141.6 at 42HZ The boxes are very very small, less then 1 CU ft each. and the amp is set very very safely
There may be another 2-3DB in there if I was to adjust some things diffrent, but it was meant to be clean not loud...I know odd for me!

Jeff, the boxes are sealed, right? Also, is it louder with the back seat up or down?

Dont know what loudest.....All I did was throw the meter in and do one test. Its not like its my CRX that every .1 counts.
Im sure we will do some more testing after the woofers get broken in a little bit and begin to have a little more excursion, they were very tight for a 10.
I wish I could do more stuff like this, but I have to start working on the CRX again. It hasnt came out this year do to the motor work getting done right now. The season is short and finals is in august so I might be rushing to get my points for that!
