bypass factory bose amp? 02 gmc denali

Help! I'm having some problems with an install in a 2002 GMC Yukon Denali.  I installed an Alpine IVA-D901 using PAC OS1-BOSE wiring adapter. Had it installed for about 2 weeks and now the front speakers are just making a popping and ground loop like noise. I think the factory Bose amp mave have blown the front channels. The rear continues to work fine. Any ideas/thoughts?

I have an Alpine 4 channel amp that I could install and bypass the bose factory amp, if possible I'd prefer to do without running new wires to all speakers, what's the best way to do?

open your glove box and push the right side of it to release it all the way.  behind teh right side of the gb you should see an amp that has 2 plugs in it (i think)    but really look for the speaker wire colors.  there should be regular gm wire colors there for easy bypassin! if you want to hook up the factory sub and rear tweets then just tap one speaker wire onto the bose input wires of the amp( you can just look at the radio harness to see which wire runs from the right rear to the amp.

I recently did a 2002 tahoe with a similar problem.  Is On-Star an issue?  My customers truck had OnStar but he didn't have it activated, so I didn't pay 2 cents to it and replaced the controls with the lil pocket non-OnStar trucks came with. 

hottwhyrd is right on the money, the amp is behind the glove box.  You can throw in your four channel, or use a standard GWH-344 plug and patch the speaker wires with rca's.  Now you can just hook up the rca's to your HU without messing with speaker wires.

Is this the way for you to go? I don't know, but its food for thought...Good Luck!
