Hey wanna get an opinion from everyone. How does a Legacy_LA 1870 amp (2 channel 2 * 900 watts w/ 1 * 1800 watts bridged total output) sound with a ImageDynamics ID MAX 12 v.3 D2 12 inch sub (1000 watts RMS / 1800 max) ? The ImageDynamics speaker can either be ordered as 2 or 4 impediance. Which is better and do you think these brands are good quality components?

The sub is a very good brand but I would lose the amp. I would go with a better brand amp than Legacy. Just my opinion.

Might want to look at the fosgate 1000bd https://www.rockfordfosgate.com and or another reputable brand. As far as the sub goes if you only plan on running one you should go for the 2 ohm model. The amp will cost a lot more but it will put out a clean 1000 watts.
