our shop recently installed an after market head unit into an 02 nissan altima. now the customer is complaining that the trip reset on the steering wheel does not work. i can not recall ever having this problem before. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Coincedental I think. Ask the customer to bring back the vehicle and the OEM radio to test to ensure that this function doesn't pass through the radio. I'm sure that it doesn't but at least this way you can assure the customer that this will rule out the possibility.
