Here's the problem, i have a Sony CDX-CA810 head unit hooked to a Rockford amp on the subs, and an Alpine 360 watt amp on the highs. Everything works great, until you try to listen to a CD, then both amps shut off. The radio works fine, both amps on, powering everything like they should. Im thinking its the remote, i used to blue Remote wire coming off the headunit. i just took the headunit and rockford amp out of another car and they worked fine. Any ideas????

Use the blue/white wire instead of the blue wire from the head unit.

ok, i'll try that. But why would using the blue wire intended as the remote wire cause the amps to shut off when i switch it to CD?? It makes no sense to me.

The blue wire is the remote lead for a power antenna and only has 12 volts when the tuner is on. The blue/white is the amplifier remote turn on lead.
