what tone/sound to use to set gain?

Is there a specific or good song/tone that is good for setting the gain on a amp? If there is what is the name of the song/tone?

Nothing specific. Just make sure it is a song that you know what its supposed to sound like. Also make sure it is a good digital copy with nothing in the background.

That's right. Try not to use compressed tracks (mp3's, itunes, etc.).

I recommend the Autosound 2000 disks.
