I just installed an amp in my truck using a PAC. The PAC had a amp turn on wire, so I used it. Now my amp comes on every time any time anything electrical goes on and stays on for about 1 minute after I turn the car off.

Is my amp drawing power and killing my battery every time it does this? Should I be concerned with this enough to find another wire to hook it to?

THANKS IN ADVANCE

You amp remote wire will not draw more then 1 amp itself, and most Amps will not draw more then 10 amps at rest, with no music.

If you amp stays on for less then a minute and no music is continually playing though the subs/speakers then your amp is at rest and will not draw enough in 1 minute to do any harm
