i want a deck with animated display, which would be the best out of the Sony-CDX-GT705DX or the < color=#123476> Panasonic CQ-C7103U. i have always heard bad things about sony but have never really heard anything about panasonic. and suggestions would be great, thanks guys ------------- two 12" cadence TXW-12S, cadence TXA-3002 amplifier, 1990 toyota celica system 10 speakers

have you seen the two in person, or just on screen? i've seen that panasonic and wasn't impressed at all. it's not bad, just looks a couple of years behind. i have a tendency to try and stay away from motorized faceplates-they are really cool until it jams up on you at a show. i like everything about my pioneer except the motorized face-at least once every six months it sticks open. looks like the sony has better rca outs- 4 volt. and a better eq. probabably a clearer display.

i just want animated display and good output. i might stray toward panasonic just because i have never owned one before, ive owned sony and didnt really like it but that was a really old deck. thanks for the input guys
