i have 2000 cadillac deville with the non-bose system i also have a 6cd pioneer cd changer added to the car, and want to add a amp and sub to the stereo... i know i need a speaker to rca converter. i wanted to know where to get the remote lead from (the one that turns on the amp)... any help would b appreciated also if u know of any problems i might run into let meknow

You can either pull out the stock head unit and run a remote lead from the wiring harness or you can get line output converters (the speaker to RCA converters) with remote turn on cables, like the following:
