I picked up an Alpine CDA-9857 for my wife's car yesterday and as I'm looking at it now, I realize that I haven't seen a low pass filter for the subwoofer output.  I looked at Alpine's website and noticed several of their other models (which are cheaper than this one) have low pass.  Is some sort of low pass filter built into the BBE mode or did they actually not put one on this model?  Anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks for your help!

JD

No, there is no LPF on the Alpine CDA-9857. Use the one on your amp instead.
