I think you'll get better results with a 12W6 in a ported enclosure of about 1.5 cuft (43 liters) tuned to 33 Hz than you will trying to use a passive radiator.  You could download something like Unibox and try modeling the woofer in a PR alignment.

Good choice on the Morel Elates, by the way.

Passive radiato systems are typically HUGE! As an example, I have an Aura 10 with a 15" PR and it takes 2.2 cubic feet, NET! Very close to 3.5 cubic feet gross. (after bracing, external enclosure measurements, and driver/PR displacements) Sure, it's tuned to 22Hz, but still! posted_image Having tried them in the car, I find they are not very suited to the automotive environment. Two 12's with 12" PR's might end you in the vicinity of 6 to 10 cubic feet easily!

If you can provide the specifications for the PR you are considering, (Vas, and Fs - also, I'll need to know if additional mass can be added to it) I'll plug the numbers into JBL Speakershop, and see what I can hash out, also.

I also echo the sentiments of DYohn on the Morel setup, but I also send a nod toward the Zapco amplification. VERY nice choices.

It all reminds me of something that Moličre once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
