My buddy wants to make his truck loud (treble, not bass) so that he can hear the music well when doing activities outside of the truck. His front speakers are 6x9's and rears are 5.25. He currently has a 10" kicker l5 behind the seat.  Should he just convert the 6x9's over to 5.25 or 6.5's or possible fit two 3.5's(2-ways) in each door? Any recommendations would be superb.

Put some speakers out side of the car if he wants to hear it away from the car, or how about a boom box?

Or this might work too...posted_image

yep - speakers on the outside. He is going to have to leave his car running if he intends to listen for an extended period of time

What the...? Do I count 108 5¼" drivers there? If nothing else, you gotta admire the guy for cuttin' 108 holes! posted_image And screwing in 432 screws!

However, the 3 ohm load must've been nice for pretty much ANY amp to drive. posted_image

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
