i have 1 dvc 2ohm sub and 1 dvc 4ohm sub.  what are the options i hvae for wiring them as a pair.

You'd probably be better off wiring a single sub.. different woofers will respond to the same input differently.. as the woofers move differently, depending on the phase of the subs, they will be fighting each other.

I've seen isobaric enclosures that have accomplished this okay though.  Series each woofer, then parallel them together for a net of ~2.5 ohms.

the subs will be in a dual downfire box in seperate chambers as far as air space goes

This still isn't ideal, but with seperate chambers my primary reservations are assuaded.

Go ahead and wire them like I mentioned above and see how it does. 

Out of curiosity, what subs are they?

mb quart pwe254 4 ohm vc and a jl 10w3  2 ohm vcs

Wire the dual 2 ohm sub in series to make it a 4 ohm driver. Use only one coil on the dvc 4 ohm sub. Not the best match of subs, but electrically this is the same to the amp.

different t/s parameters and all and different responses in the enclosure...I wouldn't recommend it
