Hi,   I was just wondering. i have a 380 watt rms sony xs-123p5b subwoofer. the amp i have is a rockford fosgate p200.2 200 watt rms. will the sub sound bad because of the power difference?

I want to re-word that last sentancea bit. Will the sub still give good bass even with the difference in power

yes...the rms power handling isn't the amount of power the sub NEEDS...it is just a maximun continous power handling rating

It will sound bad if you have it in the wrong box and have set the gain and crossover wrong. Go into a local shop and have it looked at.
