i put 2 sony exploode 12''  subs and a sony smxd15x mono block amp in and a set of kicker 6.5 componets with a kicker 200.2  when the bass hits the haedlights dim bad should i hook a capacitor up and how do i  or put a second batery in the trunk. 1997 bonneville

Need more info. power wire size, ground size, alterantor size. specs on both amps (rms output).

4 gauge power 8 gauge ground factory alt. sony 250x1 at 4 ohms or 500x1 at 2 ohms it is hooked up straight +- 2 +- kicker amp is 100x2

First thing to do is upgrade your ground to atleast 4 gauge. Make sure you have  a quality ground read above sticky on proper grounding. Then see where your at.

it'll also be a good idea to upgrade your alternator if you have alot of other accesories running in the car (HIDs, TVs, air compressor etc.)
