Hello everyone.

I used to have a honda with my Kicker L5 in the trunk w/ my kicker 600W amp then i sold the honda and bought a 1997 mustsang and now the box doesnt fit in the trunk or fit thru the back seat so i was at circuit city where i bought it and the installer told me to just blow it and bring it back since its under warranty and we will give u the 2007 model vs. the 2006 model that you already have since the 2007 model comes with a box half the size and it'll fit fine. What i'm wondering is how do i blow it? The guy said to plug it in the wall, I don't feel comfortable just plugging it into the wall?.

Also, does anyone know where the stock amp is in this car, I searched the trunk but maybe I didnt look good enough?

thanx,phill

If you're scared say you're scared. Plugging them into the wall is cool they jump around for 5 to 30 seconds depending on the power handling of the speaker.

that L5 will prolly last a minute plugged into the wall....It is perfectly safe...I do it all the time.

Whats cool is to leave it in the box and set it in your room and do it...it will be pretty loud.

I always use a surge protector and have it switched off...then wire it up..then just turn it on
