I have an 03 Avalanche with Onstar and I pulled the stereo to replace with a real stereo/amp/subs/speakers.  Bought the harness thinking no problemo....right?  Wrong 

The only wires that actually work are constant (yellow) and ground.

Does anyone else have this problem or is there a harness that I should have got instead?????

did you connect the blue remote turn on wire to the purple wire on the onstar harness

did u buy a regular chevy harness or onstar harness?  "preipheral audio" makes a onstar harness that u can buy and use! part # POS 1.
