Hey guys great forum here. I have a question about my truck. I have a 2004 chevy silverado with the bose radio system and I want to install a sub. I have a rockford punch power dvc 10" sub I found new in box and a rockford power 500a2. What would be the best way to hook it up and get the most base out of it. This is the old school rockford stuff. I am looking for specific info on wiring it without causing damage to the factory bose system. Thanks for your help.

i have run an amp off of the speaker outputs of the factory amp on chevy trucks w/bose without any hickups. the factory amp is at the very bottom of the center console. use the front speaker wires or the sub wires, if you can find them, to send a signal to a LOC and then to your amp. use a LOC that has adjustable output if you can.
