having issues with speaker drop out every time a bazooka tube is hooked up. have checked wiring thoroughly and everything is correct. no matter which speker outputs are used they drop out completely as soon as any speaker wire is used. anybody have any ideas...im starting to pullout my hair!

Can you provide more info? Are you hooking this up to a factory system? How are you wiring it up? If not factory, what other gear are you using?

using factory 6-disc indash. i found that the factory speakers are 2ohm and im thinking that be an issue. trying to add a 8" 100w bazooka and evry time i hook up ANY speaker output or LOC the speaker output drops to nil. thanks for the help.

Not sure about the resistance thing. I do know that some loc need to have a wire grounded to work correctly. I am assuming that your factory speakers are what you are talking about when you say the output drops. Sorry I am not much help here, but does the manual for the loc say anything about only connecting to 4 ohm speakers? Do you have a friend that might be willing to lend you his car for an hour to test the loc/sub to make sure that you don't have a defect? Good luck.
