I just got ahold of Two Type R, 12 inch, DVC 4 Ohm Subwoofers, Rated at 200-500 RMS. What recomondations could you make for amps for this setup?

Alpines PDX- 1.1000 should do well since it still delivers still delivers 1000 watts RMS at 4 ohms and with a parrallel / series wiring that's what you would be showing the amp.

I have an Eclipse DA7232 that'd beat those things out of their baskets! PLENTY of headroom for those woofers, and I'll let it go cheap. Check the Buy and Sell Forum. Let me know what you think. I MIGHT be willing to go a little lower, but I'd really like to get that much, if at all possible...

IIRC, that amp sold for about $1100 new, I'm selling it for less than half, shipped and insured!
